  27.    International News E-Wire Service (INEWS) is an English
  28. language daily, covering news of the world.  INEWS provides
  29. up-to-date and accurate world news.  It also includes many
  30. features and interviews covering such topics as current events,
  31. politics, economics, science, medicine, history, technology,
  32. agriculture, religion, and music.

  34.    Low cost republication rights are available allowing articles
  35. to be used on BBSs, in newsletters, advertising, LANs, weeklies,
  36. community newspapers, school newspapers, brochures, media kits,
  37. presentations, church bulletins, and more.

  39.    Every day, INEWS gathers reports filed by correspondents
  40. stationed at 26 news bureaus throughout the world.  INEWS relates
  41. first-hand coverage of stories from news bureaus in Abidjan,
  42. Bangkok, Beijing, Berlin, Bonn, Cairo, Chicago, Geneva, Hong
  43. Kong, Islamabad, Jerusalem, Johannesburg, London, Los Angeles,
  44. Miami, Moscow, Nairobi, New Delhi, New York, Paris, Prague, Rio

  47.    Daily INEWS service is available for less than $4.00 a month.

  49.    Delivered through E-mail in one of two versions, plain text or
  50. a DOS/VGA version.  The DOS/VGA version is sent either through
  51. E-mail, encoded, or through file transfer on America Online. If
  52. used for reproduction it must be sent in plain text form.  The
  53. encoded version is not available through FIDO Net. The size of
  54. the files makes mailing to CompuServe users, who are on the
  55. standard pricing plan, cost prohibitive to those CompuServe
  56. users. CompuServe members on the alternative pricing plan do not
  57. pay to receive Internet mail, other than connect charges.

  59.    What is an encoded file?  Most electronic mail systems can't
  60. handle binary files.  Binary files are word processor and
  61. spreadsheet data files, and files with a .EXE or .COM extension.
  62. is a file conversion standard.  It will change a binary
  63. file into an ASCII file, that can be sent through E-mail.  Once
  64. you receive the encoded file(s) through E-mail, you can decode it
  65. to return the file back to its binary form.

  68. encoded files.  UUXFER20 is shareware, if you continue to use it 
  69. after the 30-day trial period you must register it with its 
  70. author.  Public domain and freeware UUENCODE encoding/decoding

  73.    INEWS Daily can be mailed to almost any E-mail address on:
  74. Internet, AppleLink, America Online, AT&T Mail, AT&T EasyLink,
  75. BITNET, CompuServe, Delphi, FIDO Net, GEnie, MCI Mail,
  76. SprintMail, and many local BBS services.
